It's Ipsy Time

Hey guys and gals, how is everyone doing. I hope everyone's doing good. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Life and lack of motivation has gotten to me. I do have some exciting news. My next post is my spring clothing haul and I can't wait. I love shopping for spring and summer clothes. The less I have to wear the happier I am. It's just so much easier to put on a summer dress and some sandals. But lets save all that for the next post. Now back to the show....lol.

This month the theme is floral. I love the bag, I really think floral is going to be the main trend this spring and summer.
The next two things are a pur-lisse 4-in-1 milk cleanser and the St. Ives apricot scrub. I have tried the apricot scrub before and loved it. It's a very abrasive scrub but its great to used once or twice a week. The cleanser is awesome. It says it can remove any makeup including mascara and it was not lying. I have been wearing liquid liner a lot lately and it gets it all off. Even my layers and layers of mascara. I also makes my skin soft and smooth.

I got a concealer from Evelyn Iona Cosmetics. Its thick and a little hard to work with but I'm going to keep working with it. Once it warms up it does go on easier.

The picture above is of a mineral eyeshadow by Marsk. Its in the color Fifty Shades (oooo lala naughty naughty). Its a nice silvery grey color.

The last thing is one of my favorites. I love the NYX lipsticks. This one is a Butter lipstick so its a little sheer. Its nice because you can make it as dark or as light as you want it. The color is Hunk. I love bold lips so I'm digging it but I wonder if they have it in a matte formula.

These are the swatches of the lipstick and the mineral eyeshadow. I went over the lipstick 3 times so you could see how dark you could get it.

I hope you guys liked it and found some of this useful. if you guys haven't checked out the Ipsy website you guys really should.

Thanks for reading.
Love yall

Rub A Dub Dub Lets Get In The Tub...Well The Shower

Hello beauties, how is everyone?! Long time no blog. I know I was having a few off days and I didn't want to blog and not be myself and fake it. But I'm baaaaack. I have been thinking of some new makeup looks and now that its getting warmer out I'm so excited. I think I'm also going to do either a weekly or a monthly fitness post. I really need to get my butt back on track ( literally, my butt is getting low baby and not in the good way). Any who boo boos lets get to the nitty gritty and clean it up.

I have been wanting to do "what's in my shower" post for some time now. I wanted to do it when I did my skin care post but things got in the way so it kept getting pushed back. Some might think this is a useless post but if yall are anything like me (nosey) yall will enjoy it. I love these kinds of things because it helps me find things that I might want to try out. I know that I have found some of my holy grails.

We're going to start from the top....lol get it, the top as in my hair. I crack myself up sometimes. I recently bought the new Dove Quench Absolute Ultra Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner for curly, course hair. As everyone knows (and if you don't) I have naturally curly hair. When I was growing up I was one of those girls that wanted straight hair because all the pretty popular girls had straight hair. Well when I hit high school I embraced the crazy curls. I love my hair, I wish it was bigger and thicker but that's another story. Anyways I saw a commercial about this and just had to get it. First off it smells so good. It reminds me of the perfume Obsession. It reminds me of my sister's mom. It also makes my hair so soft. I haven't been using it very long but I will keep you updated. I will post my hair care routine if you guys want to see one.

Moving lower....to my face that is. I keep my face wash in the shower because it's just so much easier to do it in there especially with my exfoliants because I don't just do the face I include the neck to because you neck ages fast and I don't want a young looking face with an old neck, ewwww. I keep my microdermabrasion scrub in the shower as a reminder because if I put it under the sink I will forget about it. I use the one from Derma E. I got a sample of it in an Ipsy bag and had to buy the full size. I love Derma E because its a great company. I also love this scrub because it is a finer granule. Its not harsh and it doesn't make my face feel dry.

Now we move on to the V. Yes ladies and gents we are getting dirty. I believe that the V is a VERY important part of the body and really life its self. We need to take care of it. I know some people think that this is something that we shouldn't talk about but if we can have all these ladies posting butt and boob pics than we can talk about keeping our 'parts', as Leandro calls them, clean and fresh. I have been using the Summer's Eve line for about a year and a half now and I can see a difference. So all hail the V. lol. Now for my body I switch that up a lot. I found this gem again. I don't know why I stopped using it but I love it. I like exfoliating my body because it helps with the cell turn over and the smell of this one reminds me of summer. It has little bits of coconut shell in it which helps exfoliate the skin.

The puff I use is from my sister's baby shower. They were the favors. I change mine every few months because these things can get moldy and the thought of old skin cells in it freaks me out. The thing on the right is a soap bar my friend made for school. This this is a two for one. Its soap and a loofa in one. By the way Toni if you're reading this I need some more asap. I get keratosis on the back of my arms. Its those little white and read bumps you get on the back of your arms or legs. This bar she made helps me exfoliate the backs of my arm and it also moisturizes them at the same time. Its also good to use before you get spray tanned or you self tan.
Lastly when I shave, that's even if I do because I prefer to wax because its just so much better, I use the EOS shaving cream. It helps moisturize the skin and prevents razor burn and all that jazz. I got it because it smells good and did make my legs feel amazballs.

Well my loves that's going to conclude this bath time. I hope this was helpful for some of yall and maybe just entertaining to for the others. Thanks for coming and sharing this experience with me. I feel like we are all a little closer now lol.
